How we are funded - and why your gift matters

About three-quarters of our income is government subsidy, which pays our social workers. The rest — the building, the vans, the lights, the admin that carries everything — we fund ourselves: rental income from our property, our charity shop, and donors like you.

That last slice is exactly where your gift lands. Government does not fund the van that gets the social worker to the door. You do.

How change happens

From your gift to a changed week

  • Inputs — social workers, the Reable Centre, vans, partners, your donations
  • Activities — home visits, counselling, workshops, forums, wheelchairs, relief
  • Outputs — 1,000+ interventions in eight months; six work sites running
  • Outcomes — mobility, independence and participation, confirmed by independent monitors
  • Impact — people with disabilities living in the city, not at its edges

Quarterly impact updates will publish here, with the first after our next quarter-end. Member voices will be added as consents are in place.
