GiveGovernment funds the social workers. You fund the way to the door.
Subsidies pay salaries. They do not pay for the van, the fuel, the building, or the lights. That gap is real, it is audited, and it is exactly what your gift closes.
Qualifying gifts receive a section 18A tax certificate for your SARS return, deductible up to the limit set in section 18A (currently 10% of taxable income).
CTAPD is an approved Public Benefit Organisation and an approved section 18A institution (approved under section 18A(1)(a) of the Income Tax Act, 1962).

Choose your gift
R250 helps keep a social worker’s home visits on the road.
We ask only for what the payment needs - name, email, amount. Your details are protected under POPIA and never sold or shared. Payments run on Payfast's secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateway.
What happens after you give
- Straight away: a receipt lands in your inbox with our registration details.
- Your section 18A certificate: to issue a SARS-compliant certificate we need a few details the law now requires (donor type, ID or registration number, and income tax reference number). We ask for these on the thank-you page right after payment, or you can email reable@ctapd.org.za.
- Every quarter: a short, honest impact update. Real numbers, no glossy filler. Unsubscribe any time.
Before you give
Where does the money actually go?
To the unfunded backbone: vehicles, fuel, the Reable Centre, admin. Our audited financials show every rand - see the Transparency Hub.
Who checks you?
An IRBA-registered auditor every year (latest opinion: unqualified), government monitors (90% rating), and a Finance Committee chaired by a Chartered Accountant.
Is the payment safe?
Yes - card and EFT payments run through Payfast, a registered South African payment provider, with bank-grade encryption. We never see or store your card details.
Watch out for fraud
We will never phone or WhatsApp you asking for card details or "verification payments". Our payment requests come only via this website or our official letterhead. Unsure? Call 021 637 1204 first.
Can I cancel monthly giving?
Any time, no questions, one email or call.
Struggling to give online?
